CAR CLASSES
segments A to F by length and bodies by box count — how to name any car you see
Built as a memo rather than a table: the thing worth hanging it up for reads across the room, with the full reference in smaller type below it.
Three sizes in one archive — from a sheet on the fridge to a poster on the wall.
The length bands are a market convention (Euro Car Segment); only length is to scale in them. In the row of body styles the length is shared and the height is the ratio typical of that body, not a measurement of a model. Category M1 is Regulation (EU) 2018/858, Article 4. The volume classes are 40 CFR 600.315-08.
