What this site does not do

We do not ask you to create an account, and the storefront never asks for your email. Payment and email are handled entirely by Paddle on its own checkout.

We run no analytics or advertising of our own, and we build no profiles. Nothing we hold about you goes beyond an order record.

Advertising, and where it is

Advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense, and only on free pages: the free collection, and a chart's own page when that chart is free. Nowhere else. There is no advertising script on a paid chart's page, at checkout, on the page where you collect an order, or on these legal pages — it is not loaded there at all, rather than loaded and hidden.

Where ads do run, Google may read and write cookies in your browser to select, cap and measure them. Whether it may also use data about you to personalise them depends on the choice you make in the consent dialog described below.

None of this tells us who you are. We see what the ads earned, not who saw them.

Who asks for your consent

The consent dialog is Google's own — the consent management platform built into AdSense, certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. It lists the vendors, records your answer, and lets you change it later from the same dialog. We do not run a second banner of our own on top of it.

Before any Google tag loads, this site declares every consent signal as denied — advertising storage, advertising personalisation, use of your data for advertising, and analytics storage — and tells the tags to wait for your answer rather than assume one. Until you give it, nothing is stored on your device and nothing about you is used to choose an ad. Requests still reach Google, because an ad has to come from somewhere, but they carry no cookie or advertising identifier of yours.

Refusing costs you nothing: every part of this site works the same either way. You will still see ads on the free pages — they will simply not be picked using data about you.

What we store when you buy

For each order: which chart and which version you bought, the price tier, the payment reference from Paddle, a random download token, and the email address Paddle passes to us so we can send the link.

We keep this because it is what lets you come back to your files months later without an account, and because tax law requires records of sales to be kept.

Cookies and analytics

The storefront sets no cookies of its own. Every cookie you may pick up here is Google's, and only with your consent.

We count visits with Google Analytics, which sends data to Google in the United States. It is held to the same default refusal as the ads: until you consent, it stores nothing in your browser. Where it is on, IP addresses are truncated before they are stored.

Your answer is kept by Google's consent dialog in your own browser, not on our servers. Clear your browser storage for this site and you will be asked again.

The moderation area sets one cookie holding a session token. It is strictly necessary for signing in, is not readable by scripts, and is never used to profile anyone. It exists only for the handful of people who review the catalogue.

Who else sees your data

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every order. That means Paddle — not us — is the seller of record for the transaction: Paddle takes the payment, charges and remits any sales tax or VAT, issues the receipt, and is the counterparty named on your card statement. We produce and deliver the files.

Paddle receives your payment and contact details directly and processes them under its own privacy policy. Email is delivered through Resend, which sees the address and the message.

On the free pages, Google receives what any advertising or analytics tag receives: your IP address, which page you are on, and — once you consent to it — the cookies it sets. Google processes that under its own privacy policy, as a separate controller.

We do not sell data, and beyond Paddle, Resend and Google above we share it with no one.

Who is responsible for this data

We are the controller for the personal data collected about visitors and buyers of this site. Paddle is a separate controller for the payment data it collects at its own checkout, and handles it under its own privacy policy rather than this one.

Why we are allowed to hold it

An email address and order record are held to perform the contract with you — that is, to deliver the files you paid for and let you come back to them.

Sales records are held to meet a legal obligation, because tax law requires them.

Server logs are held on the basis of legitimate interest: keeping the site running and secure.

How long we keep it

Order records and the email address attached to them are kept for as long as tax law requires sales records to be retained, and then deleted.

Sign-in codes for the moderation area expire within minutes. Web server logs are rotated and overwritten within weeks. Nothing else is kept.

How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS only. Purchased files sit outside the public web root and are reachable only through a one-off link tied to a paid order.

Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored hashed, never in plain text, and access to the database is limited to the application itself.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about an email address, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, hand it over in a portable form, or object to us holding it at all. Write to us and we will do it. Where a record must be kept for tax purposes, we will say so rather than quietly keep it.

We answer within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with the answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
