Everything by weight, not volume: a spoon of ground coffee weighs 4 to 7 g depending on the grind.
Strength is set by the ratio: how many grams of coffee to how many grams of water. Change it and the drink gets stronger or weaker; nothing else has happened.
The grind controls something else — how fast the water pulls compounds out of the bean. Finer pulls more and sooner, and at the same ratio the drink turns bitter; coarser under-pulls, and it turns sour.
So "make it stronger" and "make it taste better" are two different dials, and confusing them means turning the wrong one.
Why the numbers can be trusted. Every countable number here is computed from data rather than typed in, and the sheet must pass 3 independent checks before it is allowed to build — how many items there are, the order they come in, and the claim in the highlighted box itself. If one fails, there is no file.
